Graciellie Design Birthday Blog hop

Hi Crafty Friends!

"Happiest Birthday, Gracie Chavez"

Am so delighted to join Graciellie Design Birthday Blog hop for today. We have several new releases and I have used this Uber Gorgeous Tulips from Tulips & Daisies Digital stamp set.

Made a bunch of Tulips and these pretty ones demanded watercoloring and so I colored to my heart's content using Zig clean color brush pens.

Over to the project,

  • Printed the tulip digis making a floral spray on a watercolor card.
  • Colored using Zig clean color brush pens. Geranium red for petals and for leaves used Green and Dark green brush pens.
  • For the bg, used Gansai Tambi watercolors (Green and Yellow)
  • Finally sprayed generous amount of watered down white acrylic paint.
  • Trimmed and matted this panel over a 4x6" side fold Black card base. (*sentiment is hand stamped)
  • As a final touch, added clear dew droplets as accents.
Supplies used :  Tulips & Daisies

You are Awesome: Floral Card

Hiya Crafty peeps,

Happy Tuesday!

Am here today with a last moment entry to the current Altenew challenge.

Over to the project!

  • Onto Canson Watercolor card, stamped roses and leaves from Altenew's Bold Blossoms stamp set in Antique linen distress ink.
  • Tried no line coloring using Zig clean color brush pens.
  • The florals and leaves are fussy cut once done.
  • Onto the watercolor cs, misted the bg heavily with water and dropped the colors of blue followed by yellow from Gansai Tambi watercolors to create a hazy bg.
  • I went for a hint of colors in the bg.
  • Once dried, splattered fine black paint over the panel.
  • Added a chipboard and onto which the fussy cut florals and leaves are added with adhesive tapes.
  • Then generously spattered white paint onto the panel to make the whole card come together.
  • Sentiment from Altenew's You are stamp set is white heat embossed onto a black cs and added to the panel.
  • Few clear dew droplets for added interest.
Hope you like it!

Happy Crafting!

Blossom & Flourish : Graciellie Designs

Hi Crafty peeps,

Am here today with a CAS styled mixed media card using Desert Rose from Graciellie Designs.

  • Took print out in watercolor paper and colored using Watercolor pencils.
  • Fussy cut the florals and heat embossed using UTEE clear Embossing powder.
  • Took a dark colored car base to match the florals, and applied Prima white crackle paste diagonally through Stamplorations Criss cross stencil.
  • After air drying it, added tinted gauze bits, beige lace bits in the floral spray and made it look dimensional.
  • Added dark pink micro balls on the laces, and few moss added randomly in bits.
  • Sentiment banner is distressed with pink pigment ink and added.
  • Few butterflies are fussy cut from Designer papers. These added along with few enamel dots to finish off the card.
Hope you like it!

Handlettered quotes + Watercolor florals - Trio Series1

Hi Friends!

During my June end to August Vacation at India, squeezed a lot of ME time amidst of my Family business and office works, and practiced Handlettering and Watercoloring florals.

Must say, every day i look forward for the evening time, to let my soul speak.

My little one would accompany me by smooshing his paint palette on his drawing book :)

And most of all, my dad would sit and watch patiently how we both do!!

Gonna share 3 projects per post :)

Hope you all like it!!

Watercolor Florals and Brush Lettering!!

In the series of Watercoloring and Brush Lettering combo, i did two artworks in Canton Montval watercolor paper with Gansai Tambi watercolors and did some Lettering by Kuretake Fudebiyori Metallic brush pens.

Yay!!! I never craft during my vacation at India...But this time, i wanna practice these newly learnt art forms, whenever i have little free time.

Truly i could see differences in my watercolor painting and acquired a bit confidence in brush strokes, as i mostly work with coloring stamped images, within boundaries.
This truly let my soul set free...

Hope you like it!!

More to come....Stay Tuned :)
