Quilled Mobile

First time tried doing quilled mobile...I got the inspiration from Inez Quilling Art (in FB) and from that i took the basic idea to draw my turn. I have used thermacol (polystrene) balls of 5 different sizes and made my quilled mobile hanger. 3mm wide strips are used to make major tight coils and few tear drops.

To the second ball,in the centre i have added a corrugated paper and on it pasted a purple flowery lace and to last ball, i have added a brown bead to give a finishing look. To mask the top knot on the first ball, the flower shaped wood piece (dont know what its called) has been added. Since it looks plain, i pasted a punched flower on it. Though i wanted to make a long row of balls and some five such things to make a big hanger, due to bit busy days, i stopped with just this. You can try making with stryofoam balls instead of thermacol balls.

Hope this work will inpsire you all to make one for you.

Quilled Paisley

I have come up with Quilled Paisley this time.. Doily/Doilie is used as a backround for the quilled elements. Pink, White and Gold colors are being used. When am with lack of ideas....Just like these am end up with....I dont plan anything as such to quill, just simply adding up elements and at last if i feel "am done"..great pause....and a stop. Start with clicks...as much as ...as i love photography toooooooo.....(before my son wakes up from ZZZzzzz.....)
(The pic in Blogheader is my Garden's Spring Blossom...my favorite of Spring Season :))
Hope u too like it!
