Stampendous Bouquet for you : Happy Birthday card

Hiya Friends!

Am still in Spring mood! Yet another floral birthday card here for you all.

This lovely bunch of florals is made using a gift from a dear Crafty friend, Kanan Pandya, whose watercolored cards are my ever favorite!  She has sent me this Stampendous: Bouquet for you Stampset few years ago and I love using it often!

You can check my earlier creations using this stampset here and here

Masked and made into cute floral spray using No line coloring with Fabercastell polychromos pencils. These were colored during Kathyrac's dailymarker coloring contest. Now made it into a card. I colored the fussy cut ends with black marker to give a neat look.

  • Took a watercolored cardstock.
  • Splashed with water centrally and added Limegreen Brusho crystals over it and heat set it.
  • Went over with Prima Marketing- Finnabair Lightpaste with TCW 'Art is' stencil diagonally over the colored portion of the card.
  • Stamped the sentiment from Inspired by Stamping using Memento Black.
  • Matted the panel over A2 sized Black card base by trimming it a bit.
  • The added the fussy cut florals with foam adhesives.
  • Couple of purple fussy cut butterflies with few clear dew droplets to finish off the card.
Hope you like it!

Happy Birthday: Floral card

Hi Friends,

Made a quick floral card. Pencil colored these peonies from Power poppy: Dynamic duos clear stamp set several months ago, during Kathyrac's dailymarker coloring contest. Recolored a bit now to give a fresh look to the peonies.

  • Stamped the peonies onto white cardstock.
  • Colored using Prisma colored pencils.
  • Trimmed and Die-cut using MFT Bracket die.
  • Stamped the sentiment using Memento Black ink on to the kraft colored Top fold A2 sized card base.
  • Mounted the panels on to the kraft to reveal the base sentiment part using Foam adhesives, to raise the panels above the card base.
  • A mini butterfly Mudra Chipzeb is added to the die cut part of panel.
  • Few enamel dots to finish off the card.
Hope you like it!

Happy Crafting!!

Happy Hello: Powerpoppy Blossoming Cherry

Hi Crafty peeps!!

Happy May!

Powerpoppy's Blossoming cherry digital stamps reminded me of my most wonderful years at Taiwan. This digi is my recent purchase during a slash sale.

I went in for those misty mornings and foggy days of Spring where every square is loaded with Cherry blossoms and Apple blossoms!! The fine fragrance of the scent surely to elate anyone's day.

Bit of experiment mode I was. So took a watercolor cs and misted with water liberally and dropped in colors of blue and pink (Gansai Tambi watercolors) at adequate intervals to create a hazy bg. Then dried the cs well and ironed it neatly so that it can be fed easily into the printer.

Yay!! Printed the floral sprig with the sentiment in 1 easy go!

Painted the florals using same watercolors and highlighted with Prisma colored pencils.
Then the watercolor cs trimmed and matted to the black cs. Added generous white paint splatters to create a foggy mood to the card. Then mounted on to a white card base.

Few clear dew droplets as accents to finish off the card.

Hope you like it!!

Happy Crafting!
