Hi Friends,
Am here with a floral card and tried Negative Painting for the first time. Yesterday, Emily Midgett 's Altenew blogpost inspired me a lot. She generously shared her knowledge and immensely inspired me to give it a go today, as I was too intimidated to try this technique.
She focused on Negative painting and a contrast paler/muted/ floral spray. But I tried this with current Altenew challenge colors .
Over to my card,
- Stamped roses from Altenew Forever in Love stampset onto watercolor paper using Antique Linen.
- Watercolored the whole painting using Bright palette of Jane Davenport Watercolors.
- Splashed generously white acrylic paint.
- Stamped the sentiment from Altenew Beautiful day stampset.
- Trimmed and matted over a A2 sized top fold Black cardbase.
Hope you like it!
Thanks for stopping by!
