Thank you : Floral card

Hey Hi Friends,

Colored this bunch of flowers from Varadasharma Designs. Varada Sharma, a new illustrator in town.
Thanks you, Varada for sending your illustrations my way :)

  • Printed the design on to watercolor card in grayscale to do No line watercoloring.
  • Colored using Gansai Tambi watercolors.
  • Pencil colored using Prisma colored pencils to deepen those shadows.
  • Generously splashed with white splatters and light green watercolor splatters.
  • Die cut the floral panel and matted over A2 sized card base.
  • Few enamel dots to finish off the card.
Hope you like it!

This is stunning! Love the no line coloring and the yellow looks absolutely beautiful. The die cut rectangle adds a lot of style and detail to the card and the black base makes the colors pop beautifully! Thank you for joining us at Time Out!

This looks fantastic and isn't it amazing how much difference it makes when you add pencil shading!! I've never used a cardstock colour other than white to do water colour, the grey is gorgeous and you've inspired me to use splatters more as yours add so much interest to the design. Its always lovely to see you at TIME OUT and please stay safe!!
