Procreate tutorial using @everytuesday Leafy floral border

Layered Illusion | Procreate | Digital illustration

Hiya Friends,

Recently I took a jump into Procreate world of Digital Illustration and attended a Wonderful Workshop for Watercolor illustration by Anjali Rengan of @thelettersofanarchitect

Now took a massive leap and tried a tutorial, which hit my inbox 2 days before from Teela of @everytuesday .

Two years before, DH gifted me a iPad Air (3rd Gen) and we installed Procreate (paid app). But, as am busy with Paper-Paint affair with my Cardmaking and Coloring, couldn't do any justice to the application bought.

Now is the Right Time...As my blog gonna celebrate 10 yr blogoversary sooner.

Must say, I absolutely love the walkthrough of this tutorial. As a newbie too, am able to understand each of the steps shared in Procreate. And tried little bit of Digital lettering too with that.

MFT CAS | Rose Garden

 Hiya Friends!

Am here again today with another card for ongoing MFT Card design superstar Contest for Clean & Simple category.

Am no CAS cardmaker nor genius in CAS, just wanna give it a try with all my heart. It's my first year participating in this MFT contest. Made a super simple floral card focusing No line pencil coloring.

Over to my card,

• Stamped MFT Rose garden stamp partially over Strathmore Toned Tan sketch paper using Antique linen DI to attempt No line pencil coloring.
• Pencil colored using Prisma colored pencils.
• Stamped the main sentiment from MFT Fancy floral stamp set and the secondary sentiment from MFT Hand stamped stamp set using black ink pad.
• Die cut the panel using MFT A2 Rec Stax largest die.
• Matted the Tan panel over A2 sized Off white top fold cardbase.

MFT Coloring Virtuoso | Rose Garden

Hi Friends, 

It's that time of the year! I have taken a massive leap this time to make a card for MFT Card Design Superstar for the Coloring Virtuoso category. It's my first time participating in this Contest.

Absolutely love pencil colouring and watercoloring. Yet this time focused on my Prisma pencil colouring on Strathmore Toned Gray sketch paper and made a floral card for the contest.

Over to my card,

• Stamped MFT Rose garden stampset over a Strathmore Toned Gray sketch paper using Versamark ink to attempt a no line pencil colouring.
• Coloured using Prisma colored pencils.
• Splashed generously with white acrylic paint after pencil colouring.
• Stamped Sentiment using black inked from MFT Floral Focus stamp set.
• Then die cut the panel using MFT A2 Stitched Rec Stax largest die .
• Foam mounted this panel over a Off white A2 top fold card base.
• Added a paper pieced butterfly and few clear dew droplets as accents.

La Vie en Rose | Power Poppy

 Hi All,

Am here today to share a pencil coloured floral card. The digital stamp is La Vie en Rose from Power Poppy.

Over to my card,

• Printed the digital stamp onto a white cardstock and colored using Brustro Colored pencils.
• Diecut the panel using MFT A2 stitched die for a stitched border.
• Stamped the sentiment from Power Poppy Everything even rosier stamp set.
• Foam mounted on to a Rose colored A2 sized cardbase.

Hello Floral card | Altenew

 Hi Craftypeeps,

Made a floral card today using Altenew's Sweet Cluster Stamp & Die set along with the beautiful Diamond Stars 3D Altenew Embossing Folder. These stuffs are new in my stash and was there for more than a month now. Just got time to ink it away today for the current Turquoise challenge over at The Flower Challenge.

Over to my card,

• Stamped Altenew's Sweet Cluster mini stamp over a watercolor cardstock using Antique Linen DI to do No line watercoloring.
• Karin brushmakers are used for Watercoloring.
• Then diecut using co-ordinating die and foam mounted onto a white focal card which is dry embossed using Altenew Diamond stars 3D embossing folder.
• Sentiment from same stampset is white heat embossed over a black cardstock and cut and foam mounted on dry embossed panel.
• Then the panel is mounted over a Teal A2 cardbase.

You are Precious : Dainty Bouquet | Altenew

 Hi All,

Am here to share the card that I made especially for Altenew Current Challenge. 

This time gone for a totally CAS with no pencil coloring or Watercoloring. Altenew's Dainty Bouquet stampset is one of my absolute favorite for its breezy, springy feel. The layering guide is so helpful to play with the Layering stamps. 

Highly inspired by Laurie's Inspiration card and went for a subtle stamping and layered stamped look.

Over to my card,

• Stamped Altenew Dainty Bouquet onto a white cardstock using Altenew Limestone cube ink.
• Layered the floral parts using Altenew Coral Berry and Ruby Red cube ink.
• Layered leafy sprig using Altenew Frayed Leaf and Forest Glades Cube Ink.
• Sentiment is then stamped from Altenew Remember This stampset using Altenew Industrial Diamond Cube ink.
• Foam mounted the focal panel after die cutting it with A2 stitched die.

 Hiya Friends,

Made a card for Brutus Monroe using their Charlotte's Wreath. This time did a simple subtle partial stencilling with foam flowers using diecuts.
