Made few chalkboard projects for Mudra few weeks before, thought to share here.
Chalked Bookmarks , Chalked Notecards, Chalked Gift Tags :
Chalked Bookmarks:
- Took black cs in 2.25"x6" and white heat embossed sentiments from Bookmarks stampset and Hot air ballon from Beachfun Stampset.
- Then using tissue, buffed white pigment ink over the embossed and surrounding areas to give a chalkboard effect.
- Bordered the panel with white colored pencil.
- Went ahead and matted this over a white cs.
- Then laminated this bookmark and added a black satin ribbon as final touch.
Chalked Notecards:
- These are 3.5x3.75" notecards which i attempted to do Table art, by showcasing these on mini easels for a daily Inspirational kick at workspace :)
- I took sentiments from Farewell, Dare to fly stampsets and white heat embossed it along with feathers from Dreamcatcher and chevron washi from Washis stampset.
- Buffed white pigment ink over the embossed areas.
- Highlighted panel by white colored pencil scorings.
- Matted with White cardstock.
- Laminated the panels to make sturdy.
Chalked Gift Tags:
- Was hoarding these thick colored cardboard hearts for a long time now.
- Went ahead and black gessoed it heavily.
- White heat embossed the sentiments from Mixed Greetings stampset.
- To add little extra detailing, stamped flourishes from Vintagey Florishes stampset around the sentiments.
- Added natural linen ribbon and a teeny tiny ivory Raffia bow as final touch.
