Hi Craftypeeps,
Wishing you a very Happy New year 2019!!
Love what you do and do what you love!!
May you find peace and boundless joy in whatever you set your mind on!
I made a floral card as my first project for 2019. Am a sucker for floral stamps and digital floral images are no exception.
Digital images gives a whole new area for exploring...as they can be resized, flipped, and what not. It gives umpteen options for working on card designs.

- Printed the Hellebore flower in varying sizes from Powerpoppy's Heart Abloom digital set.
- Colored using Prisma colored pencils.
- Fussy cut and kept aside.
- Took a smooth blending card and smooshed the Distress oxide: Fossilized amber on a plastic sheet, misted with water and then applied to the card.
- Randomly stamped the newspaper print stampers using Altenew's limestone ink. It gives a subtle texture over the inked surface.
- Splattered distress ink: black soot over the card panel for little more interest.
- Arranged the fussy cut florals in different dimensions for visual interest and added sentiment from Powerpoppy's Dynamic duo's clear stampset on to round wood veneer.
- Matted this panel to a black cs and then mounted onto a white A2 top fold card base.
- As a finishing touch, added few grey enamel dots.
Hope you like this!
Thanks for stopping by!
