MHK March/April Challenge

Today at MHK designs, we have monthly challenge with photo/color inspiration to play along and to win some beautiful digi image and designer papers. MHK Designs Team is showcasing few digi sets from MHK Designs Etsy shop for the inspiration. Do hop into blog to get inspired and play along the challenge.

This month's inspiration:

My take on this :)

Took 6" square white cardbase, matted with Stenciled roses pink dp. Love to keep the Tulip as focal element. Colored the base image with Zigcleancolor brush pens.

Stenciled the surrounding using Ranger pigment ink in pink and rounded the corners. Colored the petal portion alone from another set, fussy cut and added using foam adhesives.

Wink of stella clear applied liberally and glossy accents touches to finish off the card. Sentiment from the same set is used.

When I saw this card I oooo'ed and aaaaa'ed.. and thought it was so clever not to color the entire petal.. The white halo around the flower works well against the taupe background. I love this card teamie.
