Be my Valentine :)

Hi Friends!

Weekend here but my biological clock woke me up so early!

Oh yeah...made some early Valentine cards :)

Watercolors and mixed media are my recent crush, if you follow my blog, you won't be surprised about it!!

Two watercolor cards i made today with "Be my Valentine" sentiment stamp set from Varna's creations, an Indian make, high quality photo polymer stamps, crisp and clear images and more so...very pocket friendly :)

For this card, took a wc card, with a wet brush randomly brushed at the centre.
Then took LSG -cocklebells coral and misted on a acrylic block, and with brush dropped in the wet area of the card.
Mist beautifully spread around where water moved on and job done :)
Hit with the heat gun and the sentiment is stamped with versamark and heat embossed with Ranger's super fine Gold Ep.
Matted with A2 sized baby pink cs and added few pink sequins to finish off the card.

Second card :)

This sentiment stamp is also from same stamp set.
On a Wc card, with wet brush drew a heart.
Then on acrylic block, smooshed the Worn lipstick DI and took the color on brush and dropped on the wet area.
Beautifully the spread happens.
Hit the heat gun when am satisfied and added Spellbinders Vines of passion Heart Diecut (new in my stash).
Few peach pearls on the hearts and generously topped the diecut area with Wink of stella clear glitter for that subtle shimmer.
Stamped the sentiment using Ranger's black archival ink and as final touched added Rose gold heart rhinestones.
Matted this with A2 sized pink cs and finished the card.

Hope you like it!!

These are beautiful Sathya! I love the look of the watercolouring in the background, I suck at that technique so I find it utterly brilliant!! Beautiful idea to gold emboss the sentiment, LOVE!! hugs :)
