Pink Posies :)

Very happy to share that, today my card is being featured at Inspired By Stamping blog. Would like to thank Joanna and IBS team for this opportunity. This card and the co-ordinating box is made by IBS products  such as Spring liliac, Vintage floral paperpads, Sweet Valentine and Butterfly wings Stamp sets

Now onto card :)

Used this pic for inspiration.

The pps from Spring floral and Vintage floral are taken in light mint and baby pink color and matted. Used Picket fence distress stains randomly on pps to tone down their colors. This card front is matted with 6x6 white base cs.

Tore the pp at top left corner and curled up the edges, such that inner pp later is visible. And inbetween that space, tucked a baby pink tulle. Baby pink roses are made using Joy craft die and leaves are made from CLD rose leaf die and muted the color of it by applying picket fence DS on it.

Fillers flowers, mini rose buds are added to create the spray and teeny tiny bow added. Butterflies are heat embossed on vellum and colored with spun sugar Distress ink. Sentiment is stamped on a white vellum and heart pearls are added. Few white pearls as accents.

Box :)

Box and Card:)

This box is so very apt for holding 3dimensional projects such as 6x6 cards. Made a box from 300 gsm kraft cs and used velcro for its closures. On the sides, used CLD tiffany border on white cs. And on top of it, followed the same color scheme as card. Used digital freebies for pps and matted on each other using foam adhesive. Mulberry flowers with candi polka dot centres, a mft florish, grosgrain ribbon and few pearls are added. Sentiment is added on a Venetian label frame and added at centre.

I absoultely enjoyed doing this monochromatic shabby chic project. Hope you like it too!
