MS Decoshell flower card

Yet another Shabby chic card..Though i own MS double arches punch, am in love with my new MS Decoshell punch. Its a shallow edge punch unlike the earlier mentioned one which is a deep edge punch.

The idea of making a flower from Deco shell punch was a long time desire and yesterday had time to try out and am pretty much happy as it turned out well.

Cream PP is randomly stamped with border stamp (which is not that visible in pictures) using Momento dew drop -Angel pink and corners of that, is distressed using Momento dew drop - Rich cocoa. And this matted on white CS. Added few rows of MS decoshell punch borders in light green CS and pearls were added to it. Stamped sentiment using Rich cocoa in a banner and added that between the pearl rows.

Made Decoshell flower by cutting individual units in green and pink shades and made a flower and mounted on a Doily diecut whose edges are distressed with Momento Green. Ruffled the baby pink satin ribbon and added at the centre of the card.

Hope you all like it...

And a happy news to share.. After a looooong wait, my UK Quilling Guild membership card and Autumn 2012 Quillers Today Magazine arrived few days before safely since the one sent in November doesn't reach me at all. They were so generous to resend it again...Many thanks to Ms.Beth Henderson and Ms. Philippa Reid.
