South Indians call their Mother as AMMA, and I grew up with my granny and lovingly call her MA. These words are SO much filled with emotions and must say, all my Creative Streaks are from both of them! Today's card is dedicated to to them.

I have used the pretty florals from Always Be Kind stamp set. I recently gifted Lavender shaded Morning glory plant to my Plant Nerd Mom. So I coloured my florals in Lavender shade as am gonna gift this card on her birthday in April. Used Woodless watercolor pencils for colouring.

The word 'AMMA' is diecut from Fine Alphabet Dies from ombre bg created by the woodless watercolor pencils.

HeartFelt Thanks | Altenew

Hiya Friends,

Sharing here a Floral card as my last card for this year 2022.

Thanks so much for sharing love and affection over here with all your comments.

Over to my card,

Stamped a floral spray from Altenew Castle Garden in watercolor cardstock using Memento Black ink to attempt Watercoloring.
Used Altenew Woodless Watercolor pencils to do watercoloring here.
The colored images are diecut using co-ordinating die set and foam mounted onto a focal base, dry embossed with Altenew Hosta 3D Embossing Folder.
Then the focal panel is foam mounted on to Olive green A2 sized top fold card base.
The scripty 'Thanks' diecut from Altenew is added using liquid glue.

The Flower Challenge #73 Use a Sentiment | Altenew

Hey Hi All,

Am here today with a Watercolored Floral card for The Flower Challenge Blog for their 6th Birthday and the current challenge is Use a Sentiment. Of course, as always, Florals are the main feature of the card.

Over to my card,

Onto a watercolored cardstock, stamped Altenew Bountiful bouquet using Antique Linen DI to attempt No line watercoloring.
Watercolored using Altenew Woodless Watercolor pencils.
Liberally splattered white calligraphy ink on the watercolored image.
Added Altenew diecut Happy scripty word and sentiment from Altenew Mini Delight Cupcake Stamp and Die set.
Matted the focal panel as shown.
Added few clear droplets to finish off the card.

Just For You | Altenew PAF Anemone

Hiya Friends,

It's been a long time since I shared a card here. Life is keeping me so much busy these days. Squeezed in some time to watercolor these beautiful anemones from Altenew PAF: Anemone.

This is my very favorite stamp set and I had colored this particular stamp set in different coloring medium- Graphite and Charcoal pencils, Gouache and Colored pencils. You can check here, here and here.

Over to my card,

Stamped Altenew PAF Anemone onto a watercolor paper using Antique Linen DI to attempt a Noline watercoloring.
Used Altenew Woodless Watercolor pencils for coloring.
Then notched the corners using corner punch.
Generously splashed white acrylic paint and then stamped the sentiment from Altenew Fancy greetings.
Then its mounted onto a Mauve A2 sized top fold card to finish off the card.

I have created a watercolor card using Magnificent Branch and paired with a heartwarming sentiment. This stamp set is my favourite for its loving quotes and sentiments with 2 different types of florals.

To create my Slimline card, I stamped the branches onto a watercolor paper using light ink and did No line Watercoloring. I went for a soothing pastel shades for the watercoloring. Used Altenew Woodless Watercolor pencils as coloring medium here.

This card features Altenew Build-A-Flower Belladonna Lily

The floral inflorescence is white heat embossed on watercolour cardstock to watercolour those gorgeous dainty petals using Woodless Watercolor Pencils. Few more inflorescence were white heat embossed on Vellum to bring about the softness to the entire focal element. The embossed look of the bg is achieved by dry embossing Classy Stripes stencil on a heavy white cardstock.
