More than words Feb challenge: Forever &Heart ("Forever" reminded me of my Mom's Love and so used her pic as focal point for this. Made Heart using Artstones and used a Finnabair metal heart as embellishment there. She has come to Dubai for my 10th wedding Anniversary and so made this Double canvas as gift to her. )

Believe: Mixed Media Canvas : IBS BlogHop

Hi Crafty Peeps,
Welcome All! Am excited to participate in Inspired by Stamping BlogHop and
invite you to hop along all points to get inspired!

I have made a simple mixed media canvas combining few of my favorites.

Procedure:
  • Took 4x5" pre gessoed canvas.
  • Wrapped a natural hemp cord few times.
  • Stenciled whole canvas with TCW mini quatrefoil stencil.
  • Added a burlap piece on top of the hemp cord.
  • Black gessoed whole canvas and then added the embellishments, which are also black gessoed.
  • Whole canvas is touched with Prima waxes and Lindy's sprays.
  • Butterfly is stamped, colored using Primacolored pencils and heat embossed using clear UTEE.
  • This added centrally over a oval resin piece.
  • Chipboard Sentiment added to the canvas, which was black gessoed and treated with sprays and waxes.
Hope you like this!
