Dream On!

Hey Hi All,

Officially first post on this New year :)

Dream on!!!

Mini canvas 5"x7' used here.

First primed with Prima Chalkboard paint - Egg blue, as i needed a base blue color for project.

Applied Prima clear crackle paste heavy at the centre followed by thinning out at corners.

Hit heat gun to bring out textures and after which took Prima modelling paste to bring about those frosty spikes at the periphery of the canvas.

Once its all dried up, series of LSG mists, glimmer mists, were sprayed and dried with heat gun at every spray to fix up the colors.

Interesting part is the butterfly and one of my fave too. Stamped that gorgeous big butterfly from Sosuzystamps (new in my stash) on a 300gsm watercolor cs using Black Archival ink. Then used Lsg blue mist, metallic gelatos in purple and blue and black soot distress ink to color the butterfly. And then i smooshed versamark inkpad directly to the butterfly and heatset using UTEE Clear Ep and repeated twice. It just beautifully curved to give natural look.

The florishes is a memory box diecut which is gold heat embossed. Then for those gold around the florishes, sprayed versamark refill ink and added gold Ep and heat embossed it.

Then for all those frosty spikes, applied inkagold - Gold using hands, to bring out the textures.

Dream on - the sentiment is self made using various IBS sentiments. Its stamped on archival ink on watercolor paper, sprayed with blue lsg and distressed using black soot DI.

Hope you like it!
