Inkblended-Embossed-Stencil Love Card | Brutus Monroe

 Hi Friends,

Made a card for Brutus Monroe's monthly inspiration card.

This time took Brutus Monroe's Pinwheel Stencil and ink blended and embossed through the stencil to get a beautiful pattern using a subtle and soft toned shades.

Over to my card,

Love how the plain stencil other than using for Ink blending technique, when clubbed with dry Embossing technique, gives such a whole new texture to the card panel.

Hope you like it!

Background Bonanza | Camp Create | MFT

 Hiya All,

Participating in MFT Camp Create : Background Bonanza.

As my MFT supplies are so very limited, I got to put on my thinking cap to bring about a background using my single die set apart I own from my A2 stitched Rec frame die set.

Over to my card,

I made this MFT leaf greenery die set as hero of this card. I die cut 2 variety of sprigs few times from white cs and pasted over the entire white focal panel and die cut it using MFT A2 stitched Rec Stax largest diecut. Love this faux embossed look of the focal panel.

Then diecut few more different sprigs from ink blended panel using various Distress ink greens.

Made a cluster onto the panel as shown and topped the sentiment strip with foam adhesive.

Matted over a white A2 sized top fold cardbase and then added few enamel dots in different sizes and green shades to finish off the card.

Hope you like it!

There is still time to play along the ongoing challenge. Check MFT blog for more details.

Happy Crafting!!

Delightful Diecutting | Leafy Greenery - MFT

 Hi everyone,

This year am participating in MFT Camp create .Today joined for Delightful Diecutting using MFT A2 Stitched Rec Stax dies and Leafy Greenery Dies.

I stacked the MFT A2 Stitched Rec dies leaving biggest and a middle sized ones and diecut a white panel. Flipped over and put washi tapes to secure those in their places.

Then took a white panel and ink blended rainbow colors and diecut using a small die from MFT Leafy Greenery die set. Diecut few vellum sprigs from the same die.

Added the diecut stax dies on a A2 sized top folding Off white cardbase using foam adhesive. Arranged the leafy diecuts as rainbow wreath as shown above. White heat embossed sentiment is topped over the wreath. As a final touch, added enamel dots onto the inkblended rainbow wreath.

Hope you like my card.

Elegant Roses | Brutus Monroe

Hi Friends,

Am happy to share my card today made for Brutus Monroe blog as their Brand Ambassador.

Over to my card,

  • Took gold mirror cardstock and diceut it using Brutus Monroe Rose Corner die set . Then I backed it with thick vellum cardstock and fussy cut it around the rose die cut.
  • I have die cut love scripty word die from Brutus Monroe With Love die set thrice in gold mirror cardstock and layered it up to give an extra dimension.
  • It's time to assemble the card. Took an A2 sized top fold Ivory cardbase. Splashed generously gold acrylic paint on one corner of the card as shown. Left it to air dry completely and then foam mounted the gold rose corner diecut on the cardbase. This gives a raised effect and the die cut looks beautiful with the vellum backing.
  • Finally added the scripty love word die using the liquid adhesive over the gold splashed corner of the card as shown.
Hope you like it!
