More than words March challenge

Word Inspiration: Am much inspired by Fantasy world from my childhood. Fantasy means dreams and Imaginations to me.The focal image depicts my kind of Fantasy, which I housed inside the tangling mosses with underlying textural layers. The word band focuses on the inner meaning: "Reality has limits and Imagination is boundless"

Creative challenge : Used a pair of metal wings on a metal key Dreams.

Hi Crafty peeps,

My little munchkin turns 10 years today and this Crafty Mom has made a canvas for him :)

He is one absolute sweet creative soul and many a times he encourages me to push me back to track in doing creative stuffs!!

What best I can give other than what he always wish for!

Made a canvas and gifted him...And that smile...simple loots my heart :)

• Took a round canvas (8x8")
• Primed with white gesso
• Stenciled with light paste and Mudra memory dots stencils on both sides.
• Sprayed LSG sprays in the colors - Azure Sea asters, Gregarious grey and  Ocean breeze blue
• Stamped using Bo bunny script stamp using black archival ink.
• Arranged the embellishments and florals keeping Prima Memory hardware resin frame nestled pic as focal point.
• Splashed with distress ink black soot and white gesso.
• Added timholtz word chitchat sentiment.
• Black resin word Smile which is black gessoed and waxed slightly, added that to the canvas to bind along with the composition.
• Few melange stones and prima SIC stones for the added interest.

Harvest Blessings Card : Graciellie Designs

Hi Friends!

Made a mixedmedia Tag today using the digital stamps: Harvest Blessings from Graciellie Designs.

I so loved the free style illustrations and the accompanying beautiful quotes. It screams Autumn!

• Used a XL chipboard tag for the base.
• Used geometric stencil and embossing paste for the bg texture.
• Added White crackle paste randomly for added textures.
• Misted with blue, brow gray LSG sprays for the base colors.
• Printed the floral digis in varying sizes, colored them using Prisma colored pencils and fussy cut.
• The base of the floral clusters made using tinted cheesecloth, black sisal fibers., lace bits.
• The floral images are mounted around the focal point as the sentiment, which is printed and matted onto black cs and distressed n edges using brown moments ink.
• For further interests, sequins, art stones, dew droplets, enamel dots were added.

MixedMedia Altered Wooden Lantern : PPS DT Project

Hi Friends,

Am here today with monthly DT project for PPS blog.

Being "Anything Festive" is the challenge theme, i could only think about the Decorative lanterns during this Ramadan Season here in UAE.

Altered a wooden lantern and have given it a Mixedmedia makeover.

Textured Tag

Hi Crafty peeps,

Am here today with a  Mixedmedia Tag. Attempted for a textured base, which mimiced a galaxy look a bit, at the end of the make.


Straight away to the pics..

• Took a standard sized chipboard tag
• Applied Prima Finnabair Stone effect paste- Pumice randomly followed by Prima white crackle paste through Timholtz speckles stencil.
• Air dry and applied Black gesso over the tag.
• Used LSG magicals Tiffany's blue, Cotton candy pink and Creme Brulee cream one after another at intervals and misted with water to run down and blend.
• Finally applied Finnabair vintage gold over the textured surface.
• Then generously splashed with Finnabair Art Alchemy paints Sparks: Dragon'e eyes.
• Centrally added a golden thread, to it added Finnabair mechanicals Wings and Tin heart which were black gessoed and waxed with Vintage gold and Rose gold respectively.
• Golden microbeads were added to the thread around wings.
• Timholtz chitchat sticker is foam mounted to finish off.

Mixedmedia Place : May 2018 challenge (Inspired by colors mainly and elements such as rusty metals, hazy puffy clouds, balloons)

Me & MiniMe Memories :MixedMedia Layout

Hi Crafty peeps,

Am here today with a mixed media layout using one of my favorite selfie with my little one for the current MTW challenge themed Frame and Memories. I couldn't resist and so added mine before the challenge ends.

• This Layout uses Itsy Bitsy's in-house production brand, Little Birdie products.
• Took 2 12x12 designer paper form the pack, Cottage Lace, one for the base layer and another one for fussycutting all pretty roses.
• Centrally applied Prima white crackle paste and splashed series of sprays in pinks and browns.
• Layered the pic with a chipboard frame and made a floral spray around it using Little Birdie floral collection.
• The flourishes chippies are heat embossed in Zing -Green Ep and layered with the floral spray among the fussy cut roses.
• Some random stamping around the focal elements using Black archival ink and Momento rich cocoa ink.
• Added another 2 frame chippies (hidden under resin icon) and made a cluster with feather, and fussy cut elements, and added the prima resin icon : Memories
• Sentiment stickers were added near to focal elements.
• Art stones were added near the embellishments.
• Generous splashes of pink and browns with final splash of white gesso to balance all.
• Few enamel dots added as accents.
