Spread your wings!!

Hi Friends,

Made this card for Mudra as part of my DT projects.

  • On to a watercolor cardstock, Gold Heat embossed Butterfly from Beautiful Butterflies as focal element.
  • Sprinkled Brushos of 3 colors (Light brown, Cobalt blue, Emerald green) and sprinkled water using mini mister, around the butterfly.
  • I intended for tricolors but it left me with Rainbow colors!!
  • Heat set the pattern as and when at intervals.
  • Then colored the butterfly using Zig clean color brush pens.
  • Sentiment from Humming birds is stamped just below the butterfly.
  • Mounted this panel onto a black A2 sized card base to finish off the card.

Floral card!

Hi Friends!

"Flowers feed the soul" How True!!

Today's post is also a floral card...Oh yeah ..Smitten with Floral stamps these days..Enjoyed watercoloring and recently started with Alcohol markers: Chameleon markers. There is lot to learn and to improve and i absolutely love my experiments with it...

These peonies stamps are new in my stash, from Stampendous - Bouquet for you. Stamped onto drawing sheet using Momento black ink and colored using Chameleon marker: Crimson red. Highlights done by Fabercastell polychromes. Then its fussy cut and mounted onto a ivory A2 sized card base which is stenciled on bg with hickory smoke distress ink diagonally.

Sentiment is from IBS- Tulip Bouquet set.

Hope you like my amateur attempt at alcohol marker coloring.

Just for you!

Hi Craftypals,

How you have been...Climate is pretty good here now at UAE...

Today is my first attempt at using Alcohol markers specifically Chameleon markers, which i received as Gift form my family for my Birthday in last October.

And also wanna use this mum's stamp from Stampendous Bouquet for you, which my crafter friend, Kanan Pandya sent all the way from USA as gift. Thank you SO much, KP...i absolutely loved the stampset and all the Gorgeous gifts you sent my way :)

Must say, am used to only watercolor markers till now and this alcohol markers are entirely different in all aspects. I love this experiment part of my trial today...and am pretty much happy about the result.

Stamped it on a drawing sheet of 280gsm with momento black ink and colored using Chameleon markers. Sentiment too from same set Bouquet for you, from Stampendous. Its then mounted onto green base cardstock. Few green enamel dots to finish off the card.

Hope you like this simple floral card.
