There's Always Sunshine : Graciellie Designs

Hello All,

Am here today with yet another Sunflower series card. Yay! Love this Summer Sunflowers Digital set from Graciellie Designs. This time, I have used one of the lovely paper from the co-ordinating digital paper pack called Summer Sunflowers . I absolutely love this duo release!!

  • I took print out of one of the digital paper which has collaged with the Trio Sunflowers and the sentiment.
  • Colored the florals using Cretacolor FineArt Graphite pencils - 4B,8B.
  • Then the colors are slightly smudged using Mont Morte paper stumps.
  • Floral centres are lightly colored using Prisma colored pencil: Cream.
  • Matted this panel to black cs.
  • And then to the cream top fold 5.5" square card base.
  • To go with the sentiment, kept the florals simple with bright bg paper.
  • Just few grey enamel dots are added as accents.
Hope the sentiment, bg and the florals go together to convey the meaning :)

Hope you like it!

Happy Crafting!

Snowman & Penguins

Hi Friends!

Today am sharing a new digital image coloring, which is a special edition by Whimsy Stamps. This is my first stamp of this brand in my stash.

Last month joined Kit and Clowder, to nurture my coloring interest. Felt to improvise with a right dose of Amazing guidance.

Alyce Keegan, owner of this Online coloring Classes. Her guidance is such amazing and it made me to shed off my coloring inhibitions. This is my first ever image to color other than Florals.

Have shared WIP shots in my instagram and FB. Sharing there to record in my blog too :)

End of first two hours :)

End of next 2 hours:

Final 3 hours

Yup...that's the pace at which i colored. 5x7" size image...Colored using my new Prisma colored pencils. Total 7 hours, to build color by color, layer by layer and to flatten the final layers. Worth the efforts. I love the way the image pops up here...

Hope to laminate this or to make a winter wishes card!

Just don't doubt your capabilities...Just dive in to find your interest and nurture it rightly. It takes you to the way you need to be :)

Happy to inspire the souls out there...

Happy Coloring :)

Hugs xo

Someone Special card

Hi Friends!

Made this card today using IBS digi stamp - To Someone Special.

Must Say....Absolutely love at first sight...

Went for a no line coloring using Fabercastell polychromos and made a simple CAS card with few dewdrops as accents. Wanted to focus the beauty of this digi :)

Took print out on Canson watercolor paper, colored and cut down an inch lesser to fit A2 kraft card base.

Added few dewdrops as accents to finish off the card.

Hope you like it!!
