Its me again with a simple card with few handmade flowers. Handmade flowers are way too addictive i must say. Even in quilling, whatever i start with, I am sure to end with atleast few flowers. My hubby always insist me to pick some other aspects in quilling..yet cant resist.
Have a great flair for cardmaking and so inbetween my quilling projects, i peep into my other craft stash to make a card. One such attempt is today's card :)
Must say...Few of Indian bloggers who are avid cardmakers inspired me to a great level with their skill in Quilling as well. Their cards are so unique, in which they keep Quilling as their focal point apart from embellishing. My favorite Cardmaker&Quiller combos : Hussena, Dr.Sonia and Indira and they perfectly balance the beauty of card with Quilling. Hats off to you guys...Unknowingly you are inspiring the blogging world around you....
And coming to today's card. I loved the pic inspiration of IBSIC42 and made this color combo card.
My take on that inspiration:
The embossed vertical lines are scorings made from MS scoreboard and those blue flowers are handmade. Leaves are punched out and so the butterflies. Just learning to stamp and distress.
Supplies:
Blue Cardstock -Sudha
White Handmade paper- Itsy Bitsy
Leaves, Butterfly, MS deco Shell Punches - Jo-ann stores
5 petal flower punch - A1 craft supply
MS Scoreboard -Mansi
Diecut - Kavitha
Stamp -Krafter's kart
Momento Blue Ink - Jelly bean
Challenges Entered:
IBSIC 42 -Pic inspiration
Charisma cards - Punch it (Used 3 punches)
Craft boots challenge - New (New stampset, MS Decoshell punch)
Casual fridays- CFC86
Hope you like the card. Please do comment and all your valuable suggestions brings out the best in me always :)
